A modern class merging the traditional and contemporary by encompassing multiple modern techniques including: Limon, Horton, and Cunningham while also embracing post-modern principles and methods. The class explores Bartenieff fundamentals, release technique and a wide spectrum of emotions and physicality designed to motivate dancers to delve into their expressive potential. Dancers investigate how to communicate specificity and strength within choreography. Participants are challenged to move beyond their comfort zones by approaching dance using weightedness into free-flowing movements while executing rhythmic patterns in this advanced class.
